Today in particular has reminded me of what would be a helpful improvement to the Agile page. I'm sure I've seen this mentioned before but in a quick scan of previous posts I can't find it. Would it be possible to toggle Agile slots from charge, hold, discharge or just normal operation? Today I have had to create numerous discharge schedules in between charging slots to get as much cheap energy throughout the day before dumping it back in the grid. I've had 12 charge slots and 12 discharge slots. I would have liked to also have just held a couple of slots but really couldn't be bothered with resetting the Agile window just for that hour of hold.

Did this get looked at at all? Is this on the list of potential updates?

I was about to make a similar request. When there is a long period of pricing that's well under the fixed 15p export rate, I would love to be able to select (or even better have WW propose) a "harvesting" mode that alternates between import and export for optimum lengths until there's only enough time left to charge back to the target SOC.

I am doing this manually by pre-selecting all slots below 13p then deselecting the most expensive ones (even though below 13p) adding them as exports in the schedule. It takes me about 10 minutes to go through them then verify them (the red arrows showing the exports are really helpful). Starting with no charge (0) I count the slots to add up to 6 by the end (charge = +1, export = -1) and never more than 6 in the middle (7 is a full charge for my batteries). This means I import the maximum at the lowest cost. Finally I set my immersion heater on for the lowest 6 slots to heat my hot water too. In the schedule below I harvested about £5 during the 24 hours (exported 31 kWh some of which was solar) for an import cost of 80p for 32 kWh. A net gain of £4.20 - not bad for 10 minutes work. Having to use Schedules for export and the Agile Scheduler for charging is a bit complicated and trips me up from time to time. The Schedules and Agile can also clash if the windows overlap, with unexpected results. Being able to do charge, export, hold, etc. on a slot by slot basis all from the one Agile scheduler would be great.

@"johalareewi"#p7858 Yep, this is the next biggish change we will roll out. Ability to set export slots from the Agile screen, clearly without any conditional logic and just an assumed 100% discharge/dump.

UI pretty much finalised for this change, we will get the scheduling aspect sorted next week hopefully and then will open it up initially to 2 or 3 users, so shout with your WattID if you're game, cheers! And enjoy the sunshine!

I must say this new functionality works a treat. In the last 2 days it hasn't missed a beat even with a complex schedule. I had one timeout to the inverter which I caught and did a manual 30 minute charge instead.

WindyMiller I had one hiccup yesterday when i swapped an export slot to a charge but WW didn't pick it up and stopped working for a while.
But today I did the same thing again and it worked perfectly.
All set up for tonight and tomorrow.

WindyMiller I also found a bug.

With the schedule I published yesterday the charge at 1.30am was set for 1.30am to 5.30am. This was wrong as it ignored the manually selected exports at 3am - 4am. These were also sent but because charge overrules exports (at least in my inverter) the export didn't happen. Same again at 7am when the charge was set for 7am to 10am ignoring the 7.30am - 9,30am export. I can't manually overrule the charge as 30 minutes later it gets re-evaluated by WW which sends a new charge command.

I think the logic to do with charging isn't evaluating the manual export slots correctly when setting the charge times. This might be because I'm within an Agile charge window (see the black arrows for this). I'll try tonight without being inside a charge window. Also note that there are sometimes 2 export commands in the log so 2 schedules seem to be running - no problem but inefficient.

Found a bug. The 11pm export started ok but WW also set the HOLD so export was throttled. Thought HOLD was turned off for Agile exports?

Apart from setting the HOLD, the switching charge and exports worked ok.
All the -ve price slots were auto selected and I manually changed some of them to export.

Interestingly, the 1am export was sent twice.

That's interesting.
Looks like you did the same as me. Manually changed auto selected (by Price Below setting) charge slots to export slots. Mine all worked. My "Price Below" is set to 0.00.

johalareewi I think the difference is my Price Below is set to 13p. This means the charge window and the Price Below are both setting the slot to charge and when I then choose one to be an export slot it goes wrong. I have decided not to use the charge window; just keeping the Price Below set to 13p.

There was a change recently to do with 30 min re-evaluation where a test was added to check for price < 0.00p and do something...
Admin said the 0.00p was hard coded in the test.
Maybe there is a funny with this test when the advanced Price Below setting is not 0.00p?

The export slots i had set up before midnight worked OK but the ones after midnight didn't and the commands appear to have been duplicated in the activity log. The charge slots worked fine.

MikeC We’ll have a look at that.

Here's the detailed log. Looks like there were some issues - likely due to the parallel commands being sent that messed things up.

This should now be fixed on our server scheduler. So you should not see duplicate entries for export slots anymore.
