I am using Wonder Watt with a GivEnergy battery and IOG. What I observe is that the battery is used for house and export in the evening (I have a schedule set for this), but what I would like to set up is that this would be for a longer period, so that rather exporting at full rate for half the evening, there was a reduced export so that the house could use the battery for longer. Can I set this up somehow? Or does anyone have advice on the best way to balance battery/export to reduce grid import

@"Lins1"#p7791 Could be done by reducing your discharge rate. We could implement a % discharge rate for Giv as part of running an export, but if you discharge at say 1.5kW and you put the kettle on at 2kW, the additional 500W would come from the grid...

Unfortunately, there's no way of distinguishing between discharge to house or grid, so whatever power output you set in the inverter applies to both. As pointed out, if you reduce the output, this could lead to unintended grid draw. What you could do is leave the inverter on ECO, so it always covers the house load but, set more smaller forced discharge schedules with SoC queries. This would maximise your grid export without leaving you short to cover the house. @"Lins1"#p7791 I top up my battery overnight, export from 0600 till 1200, solar tops up the battery during the afternoon (orientation favours that time) then I export again from 1900 till 2300. The battery will always favour home demand over export. I rarely draw from the grid during peak hours.

@"Lins1"#p8224 export schedules not working suggests you've paused them here: https://app.wonderwatt.com/pause or, they're not "active" here: https://app.wonderwatt.com/schedules If your battery isn't powering the house at all, first check you have "Eco on export" set to on here: https://app.wonderwatt.com/advanced then, in the Giv web portal, go to My Inverter, ⚙️, and refresh each register. Eco is near the top. You may have inadvertently switched Eco off, or they can get stuck, particularly when playing around with the app. I would refresh every register whilst you're there, and check they all make sense.
