MrMessy Yeah IOG seems off, we'll get this sorted.

Looks like this is only for the default IOG slot, not ad-hoc charge slots, would you agree @MrMessy ?

Fix being rolled out now.

admin I would imagine IOG was impacted because the "standard" cheap periods crosses midnight. I don't think any other tariffs do that

Don't know about the ad-hoc charging, as I didn't charge at all over the weekend but, I suspect they would behave in a similar way to Agile.

Thanks for sorting. I'll be watching like a hawk tonight.😁

I just logged in to report the same thing but @MrMessy was obviously on the ball! I hadn't checked for a couple of nights but noticed the same issue had happened for me for the last two nights. Glad it's getting sorted.👍

Just checked and mine stopped charging at 04:30 as well this morning, although the IO schedule did say 23:30 - 05:30

Can I join the beta please

J1m Check inverter log and time as well please.

I’ll be off for next few days but will look into urgent issues.

J1m thanks for that, will check this out later today. Looks like end time disable for IOG is still off.

Given the current hiccup, this could be interesting...😬

MrMessy Right, another issue with IOG slots sorted in now deployed version. Let us know if you see any weird end of IOG default slot problems still, thank you!

admin Well, that seemed to go according to plan. I had paused my "IOG Fix" schedule, to see the effect, but I'll put it back tonight until we've confirmed the 04:30 issue is fixed.
WW clearly reacting to some overnight changes from Octopus that I didn't see ...

... and no unexpected stopping at 04:30 ...

I still haven't figured out what happens to Kraken at 05:56 though. I've seen more FB posts with schedules changing at the same point, but not sufficient to identify any correlation yet. There's the usual do-gooders saying that's just how IOG works, and I'm fine with Octopus adjusting schedules on the fly, but there must be some significance to that exact time and it's bugging me.

Anyway, rambling a bit now. Keep up the good work.

            P.S. Nearly forgot ...
It's only a very minor niggle but, the last change from Octopus put the end time at 06:14, as did WW. However, it would still be cheap rate until 06:30. Is it possible to forward set the time to suit?

              @admin is this doable?

MrMessy Is this true? Does IOG cheap rate apply for the remaining half hour 00/30 mins on the hour?

I'd like to avoid users complaining we don't stop in time and they feel they get charged beyond the cheap IOG mapped slots' end time.

admin if Octopus schedule even 1 minute of charging in any given 1/2hr slot, then the whole 1/2hr is at the IOG 7p rate.
Perhaps @J1m @JayC and others could confirm?

MrMessy Could well be simply due to their typical half hourly pricing slots. Likely related to how Kraken deals with dynamic pricing.

Should be easy enough for us to round up the end time to the nearest next 00/30 min on the hour.

Agree although unable to find documentation to support.
                    Example: 17:54 slot start = 7p from 17:30.

I've had a problem today which I've just noticed. My batteries have been charged from 80% to 100% this afternoon (at peak rate!!).
I had my Giv inverter upgraded to a Gen3 yesterday and paused all my WW schedules yesterday and overnight as the batteries were recalibrated, finished recharging around 4a.m. this morning. I re-enabled my WW schedules this morning and checked the IOG schedule, which had just the 23:30 to 04:30 charging schedule set for tonight. After noticing this afternoon's unexpected charging I checked the IOG schedule and it had set up the charge this afternoon! IOG schedule and activity log below!

Edit: Should have done this in the first place and just checked on the Octopus app and there are three schedules set for today! Strange though, as my EV was charged to 100% by 1a.m last night but I haven't unplugged it, yet I've had a cheap rate house battery charge!! Apologies Admin!

J1m Right, so all looks good yeah?

J1m This can always be manipulated by setting your Charge to value to a value less than the current battery value for the EV. Which is exactly what I have done to stop charging while we are on this horrendous lul of Wind and Solar just now. Only 4% renewables on the grid at the moment and if you are Agile - current 30 min is at 85p kWh - Ouch
