This is the only charge slot I have had this year on the ohme app?

DavrosMcT Do you see mapped charges in your Octopus app when you plug-in? We get the smart slots from Octopus via their API.

I was under the impression that Ohme charging wasn't compatible yet, but clearly we are getting intelligent EV charge slots from the Octopus API for your account details.

@admin I'm currently having some car charging issues, nothing to do with WW its either an EV or charger problem but, could you post the activity log for my inverter since 8pm 6/1/25, so I can see the Octopus IOG despatch slots, as it may help me to diagnose the issue? TIA

MrMessy We have this for you, actioned at around 22:46ish:

      "TimeFromOffset":"2025-01-06 22:46:00 00:00","TimeToOffset":"2025-01-07 07:30:00 00:00","KwhCharge":"-12.34"

admin was there anything after that?

The schedule I had from Octopus was 22:46-07:30, but the car stopped charging bang on 03:00 according to the Zappi and GE traces.
Just wondering Octopus split the schedule through the night and the car didn't restart the session.

MrMessy We've noticed that issued dispatches usually tend to stay in place until after EV charging has finished. In other words, those slots are still assigned and billed at off-peak.

If not dispatched IOG slots are available, and you have an active IOG charge session going on for your inverter, we stop it at the next 00/30 min point.

MrMessy Just wondering Octopus split the schedule through the night and the car didn't restart the session.

That could definitely be the case, but we consolidate it into one condensed time slot.

I'm not having slot issues with WW or octopus. The slots are picked up within minutes every time. Neither am I having any billing issues, even when no EV charging actually happens, which is becoming more frequent.
I'm fairly certain it's a Zappi coms problem, maybe the Harvii.🤔 Think I'll give MyEnergi a shout and see if they can diagnose it.

I've set this up today first day on IOG. I have a Ohme Epod charger and the schedules appear in the Ohme app, sometimes the those schedules appear in the IOG tab in Wonder Watt but sometimes they don't, not entirely sure why like it did earlier today at 15:00 but not at 19:30. Will test to see tomorrow if I'm being billed correctly, but I'm finding the my Growatt Battery discharging to the car at certain points which I'd rather like to avoid if at all possible.

ULtiMat3DruMa I'm not sure IOG is compatible with the Ohme pod in the sense that Octopus maps the adhoc slots, which you then see in the Octopus app as mapped charges.

Ultimately, that's what WW uses to work out whether Octopus has assigned cheaper charge slots for EV charging.

I'm glad to say I think you might be wrong about how Ohme sets up charging, it does appear to influence the octopus API directly and therefore you do get charge slots showing in WW (see screenshot) I think the flaky part is that sometimes when Ohme sets the charge up it just doesnt talk to octopus and thus you get billed at peak rate so if anything WW is a great way to tell if the 2 (Ohme and Octopus) are talking with each other and thus you can be reasonably sure you'll be charged for the offpeak rate when charging on peak. Thanks

Please can you add me onto the IOG beta trial.
                  Many thanks

Thanks for adding me on. The fixed IOG slots seem to work well but when I plugged the car in earlier the Octopus charge schedule did not appear in the app even an hour after they were generated. Is there anything I'm doing wrong settings wise?
I'm out in the car again now but I'll check this again when plug back in at home.

Wavy-mother It likely just means we didn't get any mapped charges (planned dispatches) from Octopus.

When you plug your EV in, do you see the mapped charges in your Octopus app?

Thanks for the fast reply. Yes the sessions appeared in the app a few minutes after plugging in but didn't show in WW. They've been deleted now as I'm away from home in the car. I just wondered if I'd set it up correctly (although the interface seems pretty straight forward).

Wavy-mother There may be a slight delay between when Octopus issue them and when they appear in their API, and also, we check every minute or so.

Looks like the additional 7:00-7:30 adhoc charge slot was picked up from Octopus. At least as of 00:16. (They quite frequently change/update things as supply/demand fluctuates)
