OK, so back to the under/overlapping instructions.
I had a smart charging session last night 23:30-05:30, 05:30-06:30 (nope, I don't know why they spilt it as there was definitely no break according to either the GE inverter or the Zappi).
This seemed to be picked up perfectly by WW, as seen here...

... and here .......

However, instructions were then sent at 05:30 to switch charging off .......

....... leaving the battery to drain in to the EV, which was still charging until 06:30 .....

..... until I spotted it when I got up.

Does that give you any more info to go at?

MrMessy Thanks for that, yeah, should give us enough info, will let you know when resolved.

Thanks! I'll stick to finishing by 05:30 until you're done.👍

I'm happy to report that I had a schedule outside of 23.30-05.30 today and it all went great. I got:
      03.30-04.00
      04.30-06.00
      09.30-11.00
Got WW slot 23.30-06.00 which got overwritten by 04.30-06.00 (correctly this time). Not sure if it should get a new one for 04.30-06.00 but it worked just fine this time. And then got 09.30-11.00.
Thanks a lot for the fix.
P.S. I saw that @MrMessy has screenshot from RemoveControlHistory and was wondering if you have Growatt? If so where can I find this? Thanks

angellevski Thanks a lot for the fix.

        Great, thanks for reporting back!

admin hi I am having issues as no slots are being picked up and my battery is draining? Any suggestions?

Justtin What's your WattID please? Have you double checked your Octopus API key and Acc Number?

Justtin Looks like you used an incorrect format for your account number. We've fixed this for you.

            admin Success!!!
            Octopus schedule:
            23:00-23:30
            23:30-00:00
            00:00-06:00

I know it looks like the battery discharged in to the EV a bit near the end but, I haven't taken the Giv batteries over 85% for a while and set 90% last night which it overshot a bit. I think this is down to an SoC jump near the end of the battery charging.

@admin please would you add me [ quarterly-position ] to the beta (full use case sent by email).
            IOG and Giv AIO
Thank you (and for the amazing work you have done so far - can't recomend the simplicity of the UX highly enough. No yaml for me.)

JayC All sorted for you - you can access Intelligent Octopus settings from the menu.

                Hi Admin,
Please could you add me the IOG BETA.

                WattID: cautious-power

                Many thanks

Thank you for adding me. Interesting choice of initial settings. Definitely a solid MVP.
On the Hold option I'd like to see an expansion to:
                Hold (no charging nor discharging)
Charge Only (so whenever IOG charge the EV they are also charging the battery BUT the battery is not discharging to service any load. The load being fed by the 7p IOG rate)
Discharge Auto Resume (a sub option of Charge Only. Facilitating the return to WW schedule post IOG event).

JayC Charge Only (so whenever IOG charge the EV they are also charging the battery BUT the battery is not discharging to service any load. The load being fed by the 7p IOG rate)

This already happens, unless I am misunderstanding you.

When you untick 'Hold charge', your battery will be charged to the level you set and kept that way, no discharge will happen when your battery is charging, so house load will be met by the 7p IOG grid rate.

At the end of the charge IOG slot, normal service resumes and your battery will be used to feed house load.

If this this not what you are experiencing, could you please detail your findings? Thanks!

                  Hi,
                  @admin Would you please clarify.
You say “if i want my battery to charge toggle to off”.
The text adjacent to the button reads “When the battery is on hold, it will not charge or discharge. Leave the 'Hold charge' toggle OFF if you want to charge you battery.”
My issue (and I believe a common one) is that if i do not Hold the battery it will discharge into the EV.

My ask is that for a version of Hold (Dis-Hold?) that prevents battery discharge yet allows charge during an IOG event.

JayC that is exactly what happens when you toggle hold to off. Instead of Hold, it will charge your battery during any IOG slot.

So neither Hold toggle On or Off will result in your battery discharging into your EV during an IOG slot.

Have you used and activated the IOG integration yet? I would be surprised if it doesn’t do what you want already.
