I have a connect issue. I can not make a connection with my growatt username and password on the Wonderwatt connect page. I select Growatt to connect to and then give my username and password and click “connect”. It constantly tell me “An error has occurred. This application may no longer respond until reloaded." I take it the username and password should be the same as to log in on Growatt Api server pages. Anything I can try ?

I have a similar issue - when I press "connect" the button colour changes but then nothing happens.

Could be an issue with the Growatt API, and possibly a different response coming back that we're not expecting. We'll have a look through the log/diagnostics and get back to you.

Hi @"Jorrit"#19 and @"KateAyres"#20 - could you please try again, we have added some more diagnostics in to help us troubleshoot this issue. Unlike GivEnergy, Growatt's API is very much undocumented and seems to have inconsistent behaviour for different devices/configurations. Bear with us, we might need to roundtrip a few more times with your help. Cheers!

Hi I was trying to enter details today, but on checking Growatt server is having update today so no connectivity which will not help me today

Growatt site now online, but cannot complete signup to wonderwatt either on pc or iphone despite google welcome name saying continue you still get error message, and to try reloading. It would be helpful if admin says we have issue, rather than user continuing repeatably with the same end result. Frustrating, it does not give you confidence in trusting program to manage your system.

yolandahh Must be an issue with incorrect username or password, please login with Growatt username/password in https://server.growatt.com/login to make sure it is correct, thanks.

Not sure why I didn't get a reply before but I'm getting the same error as yolandahh and my username and password are able to login to Growatt directly.

Thanks for reporting, issue can be reproduced and a fix is being rolled out now. Should be live in the next 10 mins.

Updated: Now fixed in Release 855.

@bohan not sure if there was an issue with Growatt , but my schedule to charge was not set at 2am this morning via Wonderwatt

GraemeD We had a inv_no_response error come back from the Growatt API.

We have added this now to our 'Retryable errors', which means it will be retried a few times but 5 mins apart. Hopefully that will resolve intermittent comms/connectivity issues you may have.

Naturally, it still will heavily depend on whether your inverter has a stable connection to the Internet.
